We extend our heartfelt thanks to all members of the press, journalists from English, Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada media, and most importantly, the affected employees who gathered to share their truth. These employees believed in the promises of Infosys. They were given offer letters in 2022 without any joining date. They put their lives on hold, rejecting other opportunities, believing in the commitment made to them by Infosys. They received their onboarding dates only after they fought for it in 2024. And after just 4 months of onboarding, they were terminated by Infosys unethically through unfair performance assessments. The company has denied intimidation and coercion, but the reality is far from what they claim. These Employees were pressured, threatened, and made to feel helpless. Many of these employees come from middle-class families and are the hopes of their households. But now these employees are left stranded, not knowing how to move forward. Today, these employees are seeking and demanding justice from Infosys, from the government and from the authorities responsible for ensuring fair labor practices. Through this press conference, these employees have shared their experiences in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Kannada—so that their stories reach maximum people of the country. We want to highlight an important point. Many of these employees have faced immense pressure and fear drastic consequences for speaking out. To ensure their safety and security, we have protected their identities by concealing their real names and hiding their video during this press conference. However, their testimonies remain completely real, and their pain is undeniable. Their voices must be heard without fear of retaliation. If a giant like Infosys can so easily discard its own employees without consequences, then what message does this send to the entire industry? Are IT employees mere numbers on a balance sheet? Are their rights secondary to corporate profits?” Being a union for IT employees we are not going to let this issue be forgotten. NITES will take every legal step necessary. We will ensure the authorities investigate. And we will continue to stand with these employees until they receive the fairness and dignity they deserve. Today we are politely requesting the authorities for justice, but If the government will not take appropriate measures then NITES along with all the employees will not hesitate to start a massive protest outside Infosys Campus.
